The Coachella Valley Firebirds, the proud AHL affiliate of the Seattle Kraken, are set to continue their profound tradition of honoring the armed forces with the release of the Coachella Valley Firebirds Military Appreciation Night Hockey Jersey for the 2025 season. This special event, a cornerstone of the team’s community outreach, culminates in a night of gratitude and recognition at Acrisure Arena. The 2025 commemorative jersey is a striking visual tribute, blending the team’s fierce identity with a design that speaks directly to the service and sacrifice of military members.

A Community’s Salute: The 2025 Military Appreciation Night

This season’s Military Appreciation Night, presented by Spotlight 29 Casino, is scheduled for Tuesday, November 11, 2025, as the Firebirds take on the Bakersfield Condors. This event is far more than a hockey game; it is a deeply integrated community celebration. The 2025 event is especially poignant as it commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States Marine Corps.

Fans attending the game at Acrisure Arena will be part of a powerful evening. Festivities are set to include a traditional Marine Corps cake-cutting ceremony, featuring the oldest and youngest Marines in attendance, and a large banner on the plaza for all fans to sign and share their personal messages of thanks to veterans and active-duty service members. The first 7,500 fans will also receive an exclusive Firebirds Military-Themed Bucket Hat to mark the occasion.

Unveiling the 2025 Jersey: “It’s in the Deets”

The 2025 Military Appreciation Night jersey is a masterpiece of symbolic design, perfectly captured by the theme “It’s in the Deets.” The jersey moves away from the team’s standard colors for a design rooted in military heritage.

• Desert Digital Camouflage Base: The body and sleeves of the jersey are fully sublimated with a white, tan, and beige digital camouflage pattern. This “desert camo” is a particularly fitting choice, paying homage to the landscape of the Coachella Valley and the environments where many service members have trained and served.

• Iconic Firebirds Crest: Standing bold against the camo background is the unmistakable Coachella Valley Firebirds logo on the chest. The fierce, fiery bird, rendered in its official team colors, creates a powerful contrast, symbolizing the team’s identity as a steadfast supporter of the military.

• Commemorative Accents: The jersey is framed by solid tan/olive brown accents on the collar, sleeve cuffs, and shoulder yokes, providing a clean, uniform-like finish. The shoulders feature special military-inspired patches, reinforcing the theme of the night. The jersey is also adorned with the official AHL and CCM logos, marking it as a professional-grade piece of memorabilia.

More Than a Jersey: A Mission of Support

The true purpose of these remarkable jerseys extends far beyond the ice. As with their past theme nights, the Coachella Valley Firebirds will have these game-worn or team-issued specialty jerseys autographed by the players. Immediately following the game, the jerseys will be placed up for a charity auction, typically hosted on the DASH Auction app.

The proceeds from this auction are dedicated to supporting local Coachella Valley charities and military support groups. This initiative is a core part of the mission of the One Valley Foundation, the Firebirds’ official philanthropic arm. By bidding on a jersey, fans are not only acquiring an incredibly rare collectible but are also making a direct and impactful financial contribution to organizations that provide critical resources to veterans, active-duty personnel, and their families, including partners like Vet Tix.

A Collector’s Item with a Personal Touch

This 2025 Military Appreciation Night jersey is a must-have for Firebirds fans and hockey memorabilia collectors. The image showcases its availability as a customizable jersey, with “YOUR NAME” and “00” on the back. This allows fans to create a deeply personal tribute, honoring a loved one who has served or cementing their own support for the armed forces. As a limited-edition item tied to a single, significant night, its value and rarity are guaranteed to grow, making it a cherished piece of Firebirds history.
